trailer axles includes parts needed to work on their four hole brake flanges and

Brakes
This electric brake upgrade can be found on many trailers, from boat trailers and
dump trailers to horse trailers and horse trailers. It features hub drums, electric
brakes and weld-on spring seats; additionally each axle beam is powder coated and
includes spring seats welded onto its underside for mounting leaf springs.
These 10″ x 2-1/4″ driver and passenger hydraulic trailer brake assemblies feature
single-plunger designs with 4-bolt mounting flanges for simple assembly. Built-in
levers work with your manual parking brake. Rustproof Dacromet disc brakes offer
safe rides. Fit 14″-15″ wheels.
This axle kit works with your existing Dexter, Al-Ko or Quality trailer axle and
features 2 Dacromet-plated rotors and stainless calipers that provide shorter
stopping distances while consistent braking to avoid pushing or pulling. Axle comes

Bearings

This 7.5″ Drum hub features a 5-on-4.5 bolt pattern to accommodate most standard
trailer wheels. These fully assembled hubs include bearings, seals and grease caps
with pre-greased cotter pins that make installation simple – simply measure your
wheel face to ensure they will fit. Unfortunately these hubs do not include lug nuts;
please provide these separately.
Seals
DEXTER trailer axles feature camber (or “road setting”) to create a slight bow in
their shape that helps your trailer tires remain in contact with pavement when in
use, creating a straighter track and more controlled ride for you and your
passengers. Fully assembled axles include spring seats, spindle nuts, retainers, Dwashers and brake mounting flanges (4-hole).
Standard wheel bearing configuration involves opposed tapered roller bearing cones
and cups housed within a precision machined hub assembly with minimal axial end
play. Bearings are then lubricated using grease injected into their bearings or
through oil lubrication systems.
Before attempting to synchronize your trailer brakes, perform several hard stops on
a paved road without sand or gravel. This will enable you to identify whether or not
your controller’s gain setting is too high causing wheel skid, brake lockup or
inconsistent braking. For optimal bleed and flush procedures please refer to your
actuation system’s Operation Maintenance Service Manual.
